He is a phenomena here in Canada - George Stroumboulopoulos - host of the really popular late night TV show called The Hour on CBC. From my perspective I think he single handedly saved the CBC - it is is a Canadian thing but he is the man. So part of the show is this new idea called One Million Acts of Green. The idea goes like this, get a bunch of people together to pledge to do something to help the environment and collect 1 million acts of green. So I know what you are thinking - hmmmm that is just a pledge and well we could create a group on Facebook and do this.

Well that perspective would be selling the concept very short indeed. See what happens is you go to the site - you register - you see what people are doing and then you see all the things you can do to make yourself a lot more green. It is like a ton of baby steps and the next thing you are right down the road. O.K. I may be a bit biased because PickupPal has partnered with this initiative and our buddies from the Clean Air Foundation, Car Heaven and Green Nexus are there as well - but seriously you need to check this out!
