O.K. I know that this is PickupPal and we are all about Carpooling and Ridesharing - however we are also about connecting Music fans to rideshare together. The reason there is such a strong affinity between individuals and music and the ability to come together is because music moves us and it moves us deeply. This past weekend I had the great honour of attending the premiere of “It Might Get Loud” - directed by Academy Award Winning Director - Davis Guggenheim (Director of an Inconvenient Truth).

Anyone who follows this blog knows that I am a Huge Music fan, so much so that we partner with Gibson to give away Flying V’s and go to the Virgin Music Festivals and work with bands like the Dave Matthews Band and John Mayer and festival organizers to get fans to all the shows around the world. Well I have a tip for all of you who are passionate about music. You MUST watch “It Might Get Loud” - it is in my opinion one of, if not the greatest music documentaries I have every seen! Up there with The Last Waltz (Martin Scorsese), Woodstock (Michael Wadleigh), Some Kind of Monster (Joe Berlinger, Bruce Sinofsky), Sympathy for the Devil (Jean-Luc Godard). It moved me so much that I started to tear up and had goose bumps several times throughout the show. A masterpiece that shines a light on the early days of these amazing artists and the roots of their passion and determination - Jimmy Page (Led Zeppelin), the Edge (U2), and Jack White (the White Stripes). It will inspire music fans across generations and I predict that it will be the catalyst that will give birth to this generations next great guitar legends.
My words cannot do justice to this masterpiece - all I can say is you just have to see this movie - point finale!
Cheers - Eric
