That is completely up to you and how you choose to set up a PickupPal group. You can have a public group (anyone can join) or a private group, which means you send an invitation to join.

If I have a private group, who will I be matched with?
If you are a member of a private group, you will only be matched with other members of your group. Also, only members of your group will be able to see your trip request.

How do I find a group that is right for me?
Use our search page and type in your interests, home town, college, or university to see if there’s a group you can join. If you don’t find a group that suits you, why not create one and invite your friends?

Can I be a member of more than one group?
Yes. You can join as many groups as you want.
